‘Thank-you SO much for an amazing weekend. It was fantastic to be able to see the geography of the Kelly Country rather than trying to imagine it. The whole weekend package was excellent value for money’.

PETER MCCALLUM - SYDNEY

‘What an amazing weekend. I still can’t take in everything that happened, and I feel like a 10 year old who has been at Disneyland for 2 days.

I’ve had an interest in the Kelly story since I was about 10 years old, and so over the past 47 years have read many books, visited various sites, attended festivals and talks, and done all sorts of Kelly related things, but this weekend just felt like the whole 47 years being wrapped up into one parcel and getting the ultimate thrill.

Where do you start on the positives? Firstly, I could find no negatives, and I’m that sort of Accountant who tries to make people aware of any improvements required, but the trip was flawless.

I would have been satisfied just to have done any section of the trip, but to have so much activity and sites covered in such a short time was amazing. The itinerary was perfect.

The people conducting the tour (Matt, Bruce and driver Mick) were fantastic, and I do appreciate you being aware of my time constraints in catching my plane.

You guys were not overbearing, smart-arse or talking down to people with maybe not as much knowledge, and made everyone feel comfortable and attended to all their needs.

The people on board were just terrific as well, and were a real fun crowd. Mixture of people, but everyone got on so well. I had just re- read Kevin Passey’s “In Search of Ned” and so it was terrific to see so many of the sites he mentioned in his book.

What was the highlight ? Well for me there wasn’t just one. I felt the Quinn homestead was mind-blowing, Greta cemetery fantastic, and the Nicholson Hotel cellar meal terrific.

Second day the thing that blew me away was the piece of Joe’s armour discovered in the Woolshed - and then the sites of the murder and Byrne huts, and to top it off the interview with Ellie Byrne.

Have I missed anything ? Just awesome. I can’t think of any more praise. I’ve been thinking of it ever since’.

AIRI REPETTI - MELBOURNE

Thank you for an absolutely fantastic weekend! The tour was everything I could have hoped for and more, from the first moment to the last.

Being a 'Kelly sympathiser' and having visited Kelly Country several times before, I came on the tour thinking I probably wouldn't see much that I hadn't already seen, but boy did you prove me wrong!

I loved how you kept surprising us time and time again with things we weren't expecting at all, and I can honestly say I loved every minute of it. The two days went by much too quickly!

Your extensive knowledge and friendly manner and the wonderful 'special guests' were very much appreciated.

I am happy to recommend this tour to anyone, it's a wonderful way to learn more about Australian history and to bring it alive in a meaningful way, while having a really great time!

CHESTER MCCOLL - MELBOURNE

Hi Matt, I wanted to give you some feed back on your trip. I often think about it and say to myself ‘all good things come to those that wait’.

I always wanted to see all the sights of the Kelly saga particularly after reading about the story. But to research and find the sights yourself is mammoth task. For most of us it is a case of ‘where do you start, or most of all find the time to take your trip’?

To have it handed to us on a silver platter is a very special life experience. The way it was put in order and pieced together only shows your vast knowledge and understanding of the story as well as the contacts you have in the area.

A great trip and I hope you can share it with many more people who wish to learn about the Kelly story. Thanks again.

HERE’S WHAT SOME OF OUR GUESTS ARE SAYING..

GRAEME KELLY - MELBOURNE

‘Thanks for your expertise, humour, and most importantly passion for Ned and the whole story which made for a terrific weekend. As someone sharing the name Kelly, I was proud to be associated with the weekend. It’s not often travel experiences are better the second time but the Ned Kelly Adventure Tour in 2010 showed the benefit of an even better “collection” of experiences than the 2002 model’.

LOUIS - MELBOURNE                                                                        Hi Matt! Your Ned Kelly Adventure Tour was excellent. I did the tour with my wife who is the Kelly enthusiast and only knowing snippets of the Kelly story the weekend filled some of the missing gaps for me.

The special visits and surprises along the way were fascinating and all I heard listening and talking to the others was that this was the "best Kelly Country visit they had ever experienced".

Keep the good work and passion going!
